Repatriation to Mexico City typically costs £4000-£4500, and that price includes everything — collection, coffin, documentation and the flight. The price we quote is the price you pay. Other destinations in Mexico such as Cancun may vary due to flight costs, with final pricing confirmed once we have up-to-date rates from the airlines. We are also able to support with a local cremation in the UK and the transportation of Ashes back to Mexico for families who would prefer this alternative.
How Body Repatriation to Mexico works:
At Homeland International we provide everything required for the repatriation of remains to Mexico. Typically, repatriation usually takes between 10 to 14 days as it can take some time for the translations and legalisations to be complete and for the Mexican Embassy to provide us with the docuemtns too. In certain situations, such as if a coroner is involved, this may extend the time frame slightly. Once in our care, our team will care for the person who has died, complete the embalming which is required for repatriation and prepare the coffin for international transportation.
