Locations in France we can repatriate from
We are usually able to arrange flights back to most international destinations from airports in France such as Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris (Charles De Gaulle), Toulouse and more. On arrival back to the destination country, Homeland International can support with the customs clearance at the airport and the transport back to the home town/city.
Repatriation of remains from France to other European countries and the UK can also sometimes be completed by road. We can arrange repatriation of remains from anywhere in France including:
- La Rochelle
- Le Harve
- Anywhere else in France
Repatriation from Corsica
We are able to support the repatriation of remains from Corsica. The process followed is the same as the rest of France however it can sometimes be complicated if there is a delay in appointing a funeral home.
Hospitals in Corsica do not have the appropriate mortuary facilities, so they often contract with a local funeral home who will collect your loved one and transport them into their care. This sounds helpful but it leads to bills and invoices which are very high, we then have to negotiate with these companies to start the repatriation procedure and transfer your loved one into our care. This can be eliminated if you appoint us or another repatriation company to start procedures right away. We can then transport directly into our care before the hospital contacts their appointed funeral home.
Once the repatriation process is complete, we are able to book flights to most international destinations from Ajaccio or Bastia, even if they require to connect in France.
