How Repatriation from Cyprus works

Repatriation of remains from Cyprus usually takes about 5 to 7 days to complete. Homeland International works with a vetted local provider (english speaking), who provide us with the logistical support on the ground, such as collecting paperwork.

We collate the required paperwork from the various parties in Cyprus and organise an embalming and a repatriation coffin. These are required for repatriation from Cyprus. Once we have the paperwork process complete, we can then arrange flights back to the final destination wherever this may be. Not all airports are possible to reach, however, if the destination airport is a long way from the final location, we can support with the onward transport also.

Our team repatriate remains from Cyprus and the Northern part of Cyprus too. We are experienced in supporting from both areas of the island and the different requirements for each area.
