Homeland International have supported with the repatriation of remains from Barbados for many years, including many cases back to the UK. Our 24/7 team are well experienced in repatriation from Barbados and understands the processes and requirements to complete repatriation back to the UK.
We have built excellent relationships with suppliers and airlines across the Caribbean and in particular within Barbados.
How Body Repatriation from Barbados works:
Repatriation of remains from Barbados usually takes about 7 to 10 days to complete. Homeland International works with a vetted local provider, who provide us with the logistical support on the ground, such as collecting paperwork. We have worked with this provider for many years and have an excellent working relationship.
We collate the required paperwork from the various parties in Barbados and organise an embalming and a repatriation coffin. These are required for repatriation from Barbados to anywhere in the world. Once we have the paperwork process complete, we can then arrange flights back to the final destination wherever this may be. Not all airports are possible to reach, however if the destination airport is a long way from the final location, we can support with the onward transport also.

My dad came to spend the summee holiday with me. unfortunately, he was diagnosed with Cancer and passed on within a very short time frame. It was a very stressful time for me coupled with the fact that i was 1 month post having a baby. I had no idea where to start, was giving the web address of Homeland International, so took a leap of faith with them My experience with them was amazing. They were very Empathetic, professional, well organised, friendly, easily accessible. All my questions were answered , I had no reason to be concerned. There was no delay or lack of communication. They literally took the load off me. I went for the basic casket and it was best decision I made, it was a beautiful casket with a solid wood. I was worried that my dad would be unrecognisable after the embalming, but that was not the case. He looked exactly the same, was well dressed in his owm cloths and was given clean shave . I could go on and on. I am truly grateful for their service, and I will recommend them to anyone in need of a repatriation service.Posted on JoanneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
