How Body Repatriation from the UAE works:
We manage repatriation of remains from Dubai and the rest of the UAE with the assistance of its local providers in the country. Homeland International controls the repatriation from start to finish, orchestrating everything local providers will complete on the ground. This ensures the local paperwork protocols, embassy procedures and international requirements are all met thanks to Homeland International’s extensive experience in global repatriation services.
Once the paperwork process is complete and the consular requirements are met, Homeland International will work with international airlines to source suitable flights and routings to the final country.
Embalming is managed at a government controlled centre, we will complete the embalming at the centre before safely sealing and securing the coffin for safe transportation home from the UAE.
On the ground in the UAE we work with an excellent team of English speaking colleagues. This team are available to families and employers to help with the local support and paperwork requirements. We regularly deploy this team around the UAE in cities such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah and Sharjah.
Documentation Required for Repatriation of Remains from the UAE
- Passport of the deceased person
- Death Certificate
- Homeland International Authorisation Form (this will be sent to you for completion)
- There may be a requirement for additional paperwork from you, we will advise you if anything else is required when starting repatriation arrangements
