How Repatriation of Remains from the UAE works

Embalming is managed at a government controlled centre, we will complete the embalming at the centre before safely sealing and securing the coffin for safe transportation home from the UAE.
On the ground in the UAE we work with an excellent team of English speaking colleagues. This team are available to families and employers to help with the local support and paperwork requirements. We regularly deploy this team around the UAE in cities such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah and Sharjah.

- Passport of the deceased person
- Death Certificate
- Homeland International Authorisation Form (this will be sent to you for completion)
- There may be a requirement for additional paperwork from you, we will advise you if anything else is required when starting repatriation arrangements

We are usually able to arrange flights back to most international destinations from Dubai international airport or Abu Dhabi in the UAE. We regularly support with repatriation of remains from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, and Sharjah.
On arrival back to the destination country, Homeland International can support with the customs clearance at the airport and the transport back to the home town/city. We can arrange repatriation of remains from anywhere in the UAE including:

To proceed with our services, we require you to complete our authorisation form which can be emailed to you. Once we have received the death certificate and passport, we can begin the repatriation procedure and will keep you updated at every stage.
